Play against older players whenever possible.
Attend basketball camps. Go to as many as time and money allow. The most important one to attend is the high school camp at the high school you will be attending. It is run by the coach you will most likely be playing for someday...
Get above average grades and impress your teachers with a great work ethic and attitude.
Play other sports. You are young. Explore and enjoy other teams and activities that develop you as a competitive athlete and a well-rounded person.

- Develop good habits relative to eating, sleeping, and studying.
Become a student of the game and learn as much as you can about it.
