| TRANSFORMnow Scholarship Progam Goals: 1) raise a minimum of $20,000 to create a perpetual endowment fund that will provide scholarships for RHS students who make dramatic transformations in their lives. 2) encourage, motivate, and inspire RHS staff and community members to improve their level of fitness and live a healthy lifestyle. 3) mobilize a lean, mean, fleet of walkers, joggers, runners, hikers, bikers, swimmers, triathletes, rowers, (anything else?) to participate in events to raise money for the scholarship fund. I have teamed up with the Jordan Education Foundation and I hope you will team up with me! The JEF manages many scholarships in the district and is already established as a 501(c) 3 organization with Uncle Sam. What this means is that 100% of the money will go directly to the scholarship fund--there are no overhead or administrative costs! It is so easy to participate. Here are three ways you can help: 1) participate in any endurance-fitness event (walkathon, 5K, 10K, whateverK, hike, dualathon, marathon, half-marathon, triathlon, etc.) and solicit pledges from your friends, family, and business associates. 2) pledge funds for a family membe or friend who is participating in an event. 3) submit funds or in-kind donations directly to the scholarship fund, the RAGNAR RELAY TEAM, or the RELAY in MAY event.
